Straight-Up Pigskin Pick’em League (SPPL)

Turn a shared hobby into a connected season.

A purpose-built experience that puts planning, picks, scoring, standings, team identity, and history in one engaging place.

The opportunity

Spreadsheets and emailed picks can administer a league. They cannot create the experience participants want.

SPPL began with the desire to give structure and energy to a long-running shared hobby. Participants needed one place to understand the week, make confidence picks, watch the season develop, and stay connected to their teams and league history.

The application

A dashboard designed around the rhythm of the season.

The product brings together the weekly work and the long-term competition: pick entry, confidence ranking, scoring, standings, team profiles, monitoring, and historical context.

One connected season experience lets participants make confidence picks, follow standings, and stay engaged with the competition and league history.

The result

The mechanics fade into a more enjoyable league.

Instead of reconstructing the state of the season from messages and spreadsheets, participants can plan, pick, monitor, and track it through a consistent experience built specifically for the league.

Built together

The product grew from the rules and culture of the league.

The human-and-agent team translated the league’s unique structure into software, then continued refining live behavior as real weeks, locked games, scoring, and participant needs exposed edge cases.
